Use Social Media to Research Car Options

October 15th, 2015 by

Digital Air Strike is a company that studies market trends of the automotive industry and publishes reports regarding how social media affects car-buying and how social media can be used to help automotive companies sell vehicles. Recently, Digital Air Strike published a report on its website that detailed the huge increase in consumers’ use of social media to research car sales and to buy cars. Virtually everyone these days uses some type of social media outlet to stay connected to family and friends, buy products and services, read reviews of products and services and announce items they wish to sell or are looking to buy.
If you live in or around Berlin, Gorham, Jefferson, Milan, Bethel, Stoneham, Newry or another area of New England, you, too, can use social media to find out about great car deals out there on high-quality used vehicles on sale now at car dealerships in your area. The great thing about social media is that you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your own home to learn about great deals on a used Ford F-150 Supercrew in your area, or great deals on other amazing used Ford cars, trucks, SUV’s and vans.
According to the Spring 2013 Automotive Social Media and Reputation Trend Study released by Digital Air Strike, “Online dealership reviews on social media networks are now playing the most important role in the dealership selection process.”
The report asserted that “The majority of car buyers said they consider review sites as ‘helpful’ in their decision as to where to purchase a vehicle…and that 24% of consumers consider online review sites to be the ‘most helpful’ factor, exceeding all other factors including the 15% of car buyers who consider dealership websites ‘most helpful.’
The study also showed that review sites are becoming increasingly important in organic search. In fact, car buyers use the same sites in their searches 13% more than they did just six months ago. According to the study by Digital Air Strike, the most popular review sites are Cars.com (61%) Edmunds.com (54%), Google+ Local (37%), Yelp (14%), and Yahoo (11%). These numbers are tangible proof that people are using social medial to review car dealerships and find their next new or used car purchase.
The Digital Air Strike study also claimed that there is a 43% probability that a car buyer will search for a local car dealership on Facebook’s Graph Search. The study revealed that 67% of car buyers use their mobile devices to check out local car dealerships and other businesses around where they reside.
If you live in Berlin, Gorham, Jefferson, Milan, Bethel, Stoneham, Newry, you can use Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and all that Google search has to offer to find a great deal on a used Ford F-150 Supercrew pick-up truck. If you have another Ford model in mind, get on Facebook and ask your friends if they have any suggestions on where you can find the models you’re interested in at affordable prices. Check Instagram for pictures of cars for sale in your area, and also check recent Tweets from car dealerships to see what cars and trucks are being featured this week. Social media is an up-to-the-minute resource for finding used cars and trucks in any area of the world.
